In the realm of technology, which do you think will have the greatest impact on the food system in the next 10 years?

Vertical farming and hydroponic towers will be key technologies shaping the future of food, enabling local, resource-efficient production in both urban and rural settings. A great example is Raíz, a startup from the Techstars Sustainability Paris program (like Circular Place), that is pioneering vertical farming from Lisbon.

Which skill do you believe will be more useful in the future of work?

I believe that on the most important soft skills in the future will be emotional intelligence, it enables empathy, adaptability, and effective collaboration, especially in fast-changing, impact-driven environments like the startup and tech ecosystem.

Describe the most surprising culinary experience you’ve ever had

The most impactful gastronomic experience I’ve ever had was at Onoir in Montreal, where you eat in complete darkness, guided entirely by a visually impaired staff. Without sight, every bite became more intense, and I connected with the food—and the people serving it—in a completely new, humbling way. It changed how I think about perception, presence, and trust.
